This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
